2、Prof. Elena E. Ferapontova
Elena E. Ferapontova received her PhD degree in Electrochemistry (Kinetic and Catalysis) from M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). Then she was working as a research fellow at the University of Alcala-de-Henares, Spain; Lund University, Sweden; and the University of Edinburgh, UK. She joined the Department of Chemistry and iNANO of Aarhus University, Denmark, in 2007, where she is now the Associate Professor and the Head of the Electrochemical Nanobiosensors Group. From 2010 she is a vice chair of the Bioelectrochemistry division of the International Society of Electrochemistry. Her research interests include electrochemistry of biological molecules, bioelectrocatalysis, self-assembly and micro- and nanotechnology, surface science, and biosensor and biofuel cell development.
