报告题目:Making new matter with laser

报告摘要:

Laser-induced deposition (LID) is introduced as a powerful and versatile paradigm for creating nanostructured surfaces decorated with active metal nanoparticles, addressing urgent societal needs in healthcare, ecology, and food safety. The performance of next-generation optical and electrochemical sensors hinges on the controlled creation of such functional matter, and LID uses light as the primary synthetic tool to achieve this. By illuminating the interface between a substrate and a metal precursor solution, LID triggers a heterogeneous redox process that directly writes metal nanoparticles onto target surfaces. Precise control over laser parameters (wavelength, time) and precursor chemistry (metal type, concentration, solvent) enables fine tuning of nanostructure morphology and functionality. This laser-based synthesis is universally applicable, allowing hybrid materials to be created on diverse substrates, from flexible polymers to complex 3D architectures like silicon nanowires. Ultimately, LID transcends conventional fabrication as a versatile strategy for optically synthesizing functional matter on demand. We showcase the direct outcomes through LID-fabricated substrates that serve as high-performance SERS and electrochemical sensors for eco-toxicants and bioanalytes, including beta-amyloid, anthracene, glucose, paracetamol, and dopamine.

Alina Manshina,圣彼得堡国立大学化学学院教授,任圣彼得堡国立大学化学研究所副所长。主要研究领域为激光与物质相互作用、纳米材料合成方法、激光诱导化学反应等,在激光诱导纳米材料制备领域有着深厚的研究基础。作为课题负责人等承担多项国家级基金项目,发表研究论文近100篇。
